Leongatha Show ‘N’ Shine & Swap Meet
The Leongatha Show ‘N’ Shine & Swap Meet is another initiative of the Rotary Club of Leongatha. This year’s event, which promises to be bigger and better than ever, will be held at the Leongatha Recreation Reserve on Sunday March 20, 2022, between 7.30 am and 1.30 pm.
A variety of cars, both vintage and contemporary, as well as trucks, trikes and motorcycles, are displayed in various categories. Prizes, donated by sponsors, are awarded in categories such as Best Entry; Best Hot Rod; Best Streetcar; Best Motorcycle or Trike; Best Paint Job; Best European, Japanese, American and Classic Motorcycle; Best Aussie and British Vehicle; and Best Truck and Tractor.
In 2011, a swap meet was added to this popular event and in 2015, it was expanded to include a craft and produce market. The event now has great coffee and food stalls as well as children’s activities, dancing demonstrations, and entertainment.
With something for everyone, this event has become a popular family outing with all funds raised going to the local community and Rotary’s causes.
